Our Story
Kingston Prayer Fellowship started in the year of 2018 under the support of Canada Spiritual Group. A vision was born in the hearts of Sam Varghese, David Varghese, and Pr. Livin Sam about the need for a fellowship among International Students in and around Kingston β especially the Indian community.
On October 27th, 2018, we officially had our first Musical Night program and Inauguration of KPF at the Kingston Gospel Temple. Since then, God enlarged us from a small student fellowship to a Church. We have worship services in two languages β Hindi and Malayalam.
We are currently looking for ways to reach out to the unreached in our community. We welcome people from all the community and enjoy worshiping the Lord. We welcome you and promise to make you feel right at home and look forward to supporting you and your family to grow in Christ.

Statement of Faith
Articulates both an Evangelical & Pentecostal doctrinal foundation.
The Bible
The Church believes that the Holy Bible consisting of sixty-six books including the Old and the New Testament, is the inspired Word of God, a revelation from God to Man, concerning the will of God in all things necessary to our faith, conduct and salvation, so that whatever is not contained therein is not enjoined as an article of faith.
Jesus Christ
It believes that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, was conceived by the Holy Spirit, and born of the virgin Mary. It also believes in Christ's Death, burial, resurrection, and ascension.
The Trinity
It believes in one God, eternally existing in Three persons (Trinity), namely the God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost.
Man
It believes that man was created in the image and likeness of God but fell by voluntary transgression and his only hope of redemption and salvation is in Jesus Christ; that all have sinned and come short of the glory of God, that repentance is commanded of God for all, and is necessary for forgiveness of sin; that salvation, new birth and justification are wrought by the grace of God and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and the renewing work of the Holy Ghost.
Baptism
It believes in the ordinance of believer's baptism by immersion, in the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost, for all who repent and believe Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.
Lord's Supper
It believes that the Lord's Supper, consisting of the elements of bread and the fruit of the wine, is a memorial of His sufferings and death.
Holy Spirit
It believes that all believers are entitled to and earnestly seek the promise of the Father, the Baptism in the Holy Spirit according to the command of our Lord Jesus Christ; that the full consummation of the Baptism of the Believers in the Holy Spirit is evidenced by the initial sign of speaking in tongues and subsequent manifestation of the Spiritual gifts and Fruit of the Holy Spirit.
Deliverance
It believes that the deliverance from sickness as provided for all in Christ's atonement and is the privilege of all believers, and the anointing of the sick with oil for healing and the laying on of hands.
Second Coming
It believes in the pre-millennial Second Coming of Christ.
New Heavens
It believes in the promise of new heavens and a new earth wherein the righteous will dwell. "We, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth wherein dwelleth righteousness" (II Peter 3:13; Revelation 21:1).
Tithes and Offerings
The needs of the New Testament Church, its varied ministries along with its God ordained leadership are to be met by the tithes and offerings of the believers.
Biblical Marriage
The Bible is the highest authority for both church and life (2 Timothy 3:16-17). In constituting the first accredited institution in society, God defined marriage as being exclusively between one man and one woman (Gen. 1:27, 2:18, 23-24). All churches, ministers, officers, employees, and members on every level are prohibited from condoning or engaging in practices contrary to Scripture. Although all church positions are limited to those subscribing to church faith and practice, all persons, whatever their backgrounds, should be welcomed to any church, for Christ calls upon all persons to come to Him.

Testimonies
Hear what God is doing in the lives of our community.
I'm Ashlesha from Rajasthan, India; based in Kingston. No matter where you come from, you can find love and care in this community. In my most desperate time, life took a big turn when I first attended their English church service. Church family stepped forward to support me in practical and spiritual ways I didn't even know were possible. I discovered myself and God in a completely different way as He did wonders and miracles in my life; I took the decision to be baptized and I'm prayerfully understanding my calling as I serve in ministry by God's grace and prayers of God's faithful people in this community.
Upon arriving in Canada, cultural shock and isolation triggered depression. Yet, my steadfast commitment to church and prayer remained. God's healing touch became evident, not just in my Canadian struggles but also in the turmoil of my home country. Surrendering to Him, I found solace. Despite enjoying life without prayers previously, I now recognize divine intervention in reshaping my future. Today, I stand as a testament to God's greatness, His unwavering plan, and the transformative power of His blessings that have guided me through adversity.
When we observe the living and non-living elements in nature, we are reminded of an incredible creator whose glory is reflected in everything. The magnificence of creation stems from God's unparalleled wisdom, beyond human description. He crafted everything perfectly according to His grand vision. Mankind was created to commune with Him and praise His holy name. God sent His son for us to attain eternal life. Despite this, many need to hear the Gospel of Christ, offering hope, encouragement, and joy. I believe Kingston Prayer Fellowship, as a church, was created by God to fulfill this purpose for the people of Kingston and its surrounding areas. We aim to be a group reflecting God's glory, sharing the love received from Christ with those seeking hope and peace in their lives.
